Lauren is joined in the 6 Music Live Room by Whyte Horses, a Mancunian group formed by Dom Thomas with the aim of creating a "girl group playing songs in a Mexican church" sound.

Having previously founded the re-issue label Finders Keepers, his crate-digging past audibly influenced Whyte Horses' debut LP, which embraced indie pop, psychedelia, Tropicalia and more. Their second album, Empty Words, is out now on CRC Records and includes contributions from La Roux and Nouvelle Vague's M茅lanie Pain.
