Launch of Radio 2's Young Choristers of the Year

The Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad launch Radio 2's Young Choristers of the Year with last year's winners Ischia Gooda and Raphael Bellamy Plaice.

The Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad launch Radio 2's Young Choristers of the Year with this year's winners Ischia Gooda and Raphael Bellamy Plaice. They'll be joined by last year's judge, the musician and comedian Vikki Stone, who will share her wisdom on what the judges will be looking for from the choristers applying.

As it's Wesak Day, or Buddha Day, Zen Master Julian Daizan Skinner will discuss the Buddhist festival and share his tips for zen exercises to try at home, and how to meditate in a traffic jam.

Peter Stanford will also join Kate and Jason in the studio to talk about his new book which explores conversations about faith and includes interviews he's had with well known people of faith.

And Jason and Kate try to lift the spirits of Charity Champion Charles Jardine, who has just completed a 60 mile run but is still trying to catch a trout as part of his Wessex Water Challenge. He's raising money for Fishing 4 Schools, a charity which takes children who are struggling at school fly fishing.
