Ali Campbell, singer and songwriter picks the Tracks of My Years with music from Pharrell Williams/Katy Perry and James Brown. Ali Campbell is a founding member and lead singer of the English reggae band UB40. The band formed in 1979 in the Birmingham suburb of Moseley and went on to become the biggest reggae band in Britain, achieving huge success worldwide. They sold over 70 million records, toured all over the world and were Grammy nominated four times. They've had two number 1 albums, over 15 Top 10 UK singles, and received an Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement. During his solo career, Ali released 5 albums, two of them reaching the Top 10. Now the band has reunited to release their latest album A Real Labour Of Love which focuses primarily on reggae tracks from the 1980s.
