Actor Russell Tovey - The History Boys, Being Human, Him And Her, Gavin And Stacey - joins Amol to talk about starring in children's series Shane the Chef.

Shane the Chef follows the exploits of enterprising young chef and single dad Shane, his daughter Izzy (played by Harriet Lamb) and their friends in the charming little seaside town of Munchington. Shane's firm belief is that, when it comes to food, "fresh is best" and his mission is to deliver the finest food made from the freshest ingredients.

Each episode revolves around a particular special dish he wants to cook for his restaurant that day and the adventures that leads to with his friends in Munchington - whether it's trying to build the biggest baguette for a world record, finding wild herbs in the woods or growing large vegetables for the village county fair.

The voice cast also includes: Cold Feet star John Thomson, Jess Robinson, Phaldut Sharma, Laura Aikman and Marc Silk.
