Nigel Ogden is the featured organist for this, the final edition of The Organist Entertains as the show reaches the end of its 49 year run on Radio 2. As well as hosting the programme since 1980, Nigel is one the UK's leading theatre organists. Tonight he gets the chance to show off those talents with a diverse programme that includes Ponchielli's Dance of the Hours, Aquarium from The Carnival of the Animals, Moonlight In Vermont and the show's long serving theme tune, Cole Porter's From This Moment On. Featuring the Compton of The Plaza Cinema, Stockport, the Willis organs of Lincoln and Hereford Cathedrals and Nigel's very own Hammond Commodore.
