Friday is all about your Middle Age Shout Outs - get involved via #maso. Plus, Shaun welcomes the legendary Johnny Marr to the show with a WORLD EXCLUSIVE play of his new single. Johnny joins Shaun after 9am and the legendary Smiths guitarist will be bringing his new single from his new album 'Call The Comet' to play for the first time anywhere in the World. Recorded with his band in Manchester at Marr's Crazy Face Studios, 'Call The Comet' is his third solo record and follows the critically acclaimed Top 10 albums 'The Messenger' (2013) and 'Playland' (2014). "Call The Comet' is my own magic realism," says Marr. "It's set in the not-too-distant future and is mostly concerned with the idea of an alternative society. The characters in the songs are searching for a new idealism, although there are some personal songs in there too. It's something that people like me can relate to."

All this alongside Matt Everitt with the Music News and tracks from the New Arctic Monkey's album which is released today. Shaun will have a track at 7.40am and 8.40am.
