Tectonics Glasgow 2018 with the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra

Kate Molleson presents highlights from last weekend's Tectonics Glasgow 2018.
With performances taking place right across the city, tonight's Hear and Now includes world premieres from the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scottish Symphony Orchestra and a work for Ondes Martenot by Bernard Parmegiani, a major figure in the development of electroacoustic music. Also tonight, a performance piece for multiple tape players, Dictaphones and texts by Joe Posset recorded at Glasgow's Old Fruitmarket.
This is the first of three programmes from Tectonics Glasgow. Now in its fifth year, it brings the best improvisers and new music practitioners from around the world to Glasgow, to collaborate together and with local performers and artists.
