Should Parliament be taking six weeks off during Brexit negotiations?
Should Parliament be taking six weeks off during Brexit negotiations? And how far should businesses go to provide disabled access and facilities?
Labour peer Lord Adonis says Parliament should not have the best part of three months off this summer.
Lord Adonis says "we will be in midst of a Brexit crisis", so Parliament should only have a fortnight off in August. House of Commons recess runs from 24th July to the 4th September - six weeks off. Is that too much?
Also: The family of a severely disabled 11-year-old boy is suing a theme park for failing to provide a suitable toilet for his needs.
Rachel George claims Flambards Theme Park, in Cornwall, discriminated and failed to make reasonable adjustments for her son Adam because a 'changing places' toilet - with extra space, hoists and changing table - was not available. The company says this facility would cost over 拢40,000; an expense that they say could affect jobs.
