It is semi-finals day at the International and British fans are hoping their heroes fare better than this time 12 months ago on the south coast. Both Johanna Konta and Heather Watson bowed out at this stage last season, with the former unable to even take to the court for her match due to a back injury.

Meanwhile, Watson lost to Caroline Wozniacki - the Danish world number two who is heading back to the south coast for this year's tournament alongside the world's top-ranked player, Simona Halep.
