Steve's 'Proms' record exchange with Tom Service and guest artists. Every day a 6 Music favourite artist shares their favourite piece of classical music; today it's the turn of Tim Wheeler from Ash. The Radio 3 classical music master Tom then recommends a Prom from this year's season for them, and says exactly why they and indeed us, should attend or listen. Plus Steve chats to Radio 3's Georgia Mann live at the Royal Albert Hall ahead of the First night of the Proms.
Steve also brings the best of brand new music, classic tracks, archive sessions and forgotten treasures. He'll also be looking to soundtrack a story from the newsstands in the National Anthem.
