Gabby Logan presents live coverage from the first day of the Anniversary Games at the London Stadium, the home of both the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics and the 2017 World Championships, with several of athletics' biggest names in action.

The event is considered one of the most highly rated IAAF Diamond League meetings on the circuit, and it attracts stellar names year on year. The men's 100m is one of the highlights on the first day of action as the event looks to its next generation following Usain Bolt's retirement. The race is positively bursting with young talent, including American sensation Christian Coleman, who is returning to the scene of his World Championship silver medal last year. He faces - among others - Canada's triple Olympic medallist Andre De Grasse and numerous members of Great Britain's 4x100m relay World Championship gold medal-winning squad. Other races taking place include the women's 100m, men's 400m, both the men's and women's 400m hurdles and the men's pole vault.

There is also a host of Para athletics stars on display, including British sprinters Libby Clegg and Richard Whitehead. Commentary and expert analysis comes from Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter, Paula Radcliffe, Steve Backley, Michael Johnson and 2012 Olympic heptathlon champion Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.
