British farmers face a constant battle against pests - here there are 70,000 different species that attack agricultural crops - worldwide many more. The University of Reading is carrying out research into controlling insect pests on farms with predators such as black wasps, Sybil hears how these methods can help boost crop production and reduce the use of chemicals. There are also reports on culling pigeons and rabbits using guns, dogs and ferrets.
