Communications manager and journalist Christine Armstrong has published a book describing the work life balance as an 'impossible dream'. She says that modern working life doesn't combine with having a family and that the social expectations of mothers have not moved much in the past few decades.

Anne McDermott lost her 35 year old son to a drug overdose at the start of this year. Scott had battled drug addiction since the age of 17 and, when he died, the toxologist found 3 illegal drugs and 3 prescribed drugs in his system including methadone.
