6 Music's All Day Rave!

Shaun is joined by our very own Nemone in the final hour as 6 Music celebrates 30 years of UK Club Culture since the Second of Summer of Love with an All Day Rave! EXPECT BANGERS.

Thursday sees Shaun kick off 6 Music's All Day Rave, when, in the final hour of the show Nemone joins to help Shaun celebrate 30 years of UK Club Cuture since the Second of Summer of Love. The Second Summer of Love was the biggest youth revolution since the 1960s and out of the dry ice and banging beats came a new cultural outlook that helped shape a generation of clubbers. Nemone will be bringing in a bag of banging tunes, both new and old, that celebrates club culture and music that set dancefloors / warehouse parties / dingy basements and derelict railway arches on fire.

Shaun will also check in with his Dutch DJ friends Dirk and Jurgen who has put together a special Dutch Techno mix for him. Expect some boomfunk, some BBQHouse and some happy hardcore electrocrunch all before 9am. As usual the Earworm search continues in the first hour and Matt Everitt joins with the latest Music News which includes a chat with 808 State.
