In 1986, Hipsway were riding high with a hit single 鈥楬oneythief鈥�, a Gold debut album and tours with Eurythmics and Simple Minds. Two years later they disbanded before their second album had even been released. Lead singer Skin and guitarist Pim remained friends but parted musical ways until a recent string of sell-out shows led them back into the studio to record a new album. Hipsway share material from Smoke And Dreams alongside loved classics.
Brooklyn-based, Welsh-born singer-songwriter Rod Thomas records under the name Bright Light Bright Light. He鈥檚 previously collaborated with Elton John and The Scissor Sisters and toured with Erasure. Delivering sunshine-tinged pop from his album Choreography and more as he stops off to play The Quay Sessions during his European tour.
