Sarah Walker with Beethoven, Marcabrun and McPhee

Sarah Walker with a broad range of music, including works by Beethoven, Marcabrun and Poulenc. Her Sunday Escape is Colin McPhee's Tabuh-Tabuhan.

Sarah Walker鈥檚 Sunday morning selection includes Beethoven鈥檚 string quartet in F, arranged from his piano sonata Op. 14, No. 1. There鈥檚 also music ranging in time from the pre-baroque, by Marcabrun and John Jenkins, via the Italian baroque of Locatelli to the early 20th century work of Poulenc. This week鈥檚 Sunday Escape is from Canadian-born composer Colin McPhee鈥檚 Tabuh-Tabuhan, evoking the sound world of Bali.
