Katie Derham's guests include heldentenor Stuart Skelton, the night after his Royal Opera House debut in Wagner's Die Walkure. He's singing in Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde with the London Philharmonic, conducted by Vladimir Jurowski, and his debut solo album, Shining Knight, has been released on ABC Classics. Katie speaks to composer Kate Whitley about her score for Birmingham Royal Ballet's new commission, Ignite, choreographed by Juanjo Arques. And soprano Elin Manahan Thomas and pianist Jocelyn Freeman perform songs from Welsh composer Dilys Elwyn-Edwards - they've recorded an album of the Welsh composer's works and are performing some of her compositions at North Wales International Music Festival.
