Music 'til Midnight, the best in easy listening sounds and timeless standards from the past 60 years. Including this week's featured album - Dave Grusin Presents West Side Story. Released in 1997 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the opening of West Side Story on Broadway, arranger and pianist Dave Grusin revived the score featuring an all-star big band and singers including Jonathan Butler, Gloria Estefan and Jon Secada for what is widely regarded as a highly respectful yet creative reworking of Leonard Bernstein's famous score. There's a New York theme to all of the featured music with titles including Lullaby of Broadway, Autumn In New York, Take The 'A' Train and Manhattan performed by artists including Ella Fitzgerald, The Hi-Lo's, Anita O'Day and Leon Russell.
