John Toal presents highlights from the 23rd West Cork Chamber Music Festival. Featuring music by Mozart and Beethoven, recorded in the rich acoustic of St. Brendan's Church, situated on the main square in the centre of Bantry town.

Spanish oboist Ram贸n Ortega Quero and the Elias Quartet join forces for a performance of Mozart鈥檚 Oboe Quartet in F major, K.370. It was written in 1781 when Mozart was staying in Munich to complete his opera Idomeneo. An international line-up of musicians follows it with Beethoven鈥檚 Septet in E flat Major, Op.20: a work which mixes grandeur and intimacy, with virtuosity and informality.
