In January last year, twenty-year-old Chelsea Cameron from Dundee wrote an open letter on her blog to her drug addicted parents, thanking them for teaching her through bad example. Two days later she was on national television, has since won the Young Scot of the Year award and works for Columba 1400, a leadership and mentoring scheme for young people. She talks to Edi Stark about her chaotic upbringing, her resilience and her ultimate ambition.
