We’ve been following ´óÏó´«Ã½ One primetime drama The Cry, along with nearly 6 million viewers, since the beginning of the 4 part series. Since we last spoke to Glasgow-based executive producer Claire Mundell of Synchronicity films, she’s sold the rights to multiple territories, including the US and Australia. Claire returns with two of the Scottish members of the cast, Sophie Kennedy Clark – who plays Joanna’s best friend Kirsty, and Moyo Akande, who plays a defence lawyer. Grant talks to them about whether the success of The Cry signals an era of greater opportunities for Scottish productions and actors.
