Music on the theme of love and death by Wagner and Schoenberg from the 49th Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, presented by Sarah Walker. Schoenberg's epic string sextet, Verkl盲rte Nacht, was inspired by meeting his future wife, Mathilde von Zemlinsky, for the first time. These performances were recorded in the stunning setting of the Kuhmo Arts Centre, on the shores of Lake Lammasj盲rvi in Eastern Finland.
