Katie Derham presents a lively mix of music, conversation and arts news. Live music today comes courtesy of the Castalian String Quartet before they head up to Halifax for a recital, and baroque ensemble Improviso, who join us in the midst of their Christmas tour. Plus we hear from composer Mark Bowden about his new Saxophone Concerto, which was inspired by Yuval Noah Harari's book Sapiens, ahead of its premiere with the London Sinfonietta tomorrow.
