The Van Kuijk Quartet and pianist Tom Poster perform sensuous Cesar Franck

In this series of string quartet recitals recorded at Perth Concert Hall, a major French work sits at the core of each programme. Today, 大象传媒 New Generation ensemble the Van Kuijk Quartet begins with Haydn; his Opus 33 quartet nicknamed The Joke due to the last movement that plays on audience expectations. Pianist Tom Poster then joins the Van Kuijk鈥檚 for Cesar Franck鈥檚 Piano Quintet, a passionate work that shocked even Liszt.
