Tom is joined in the studio by Turkish Psych-pop group Grup 艦im艧ek. It鈥檚 such a treat to be joined by this band. If you haven鈥檛 heard their debut EP Nem Kaldi, then stop reading this and listen to it! Made up of members from Turkey, Germany, France, Italy and the UK, Grup 艦im艧ek are preparing to release a new album in May 鈥� of which we鈥檝e already heard Oy Oy Emine, and K眉rk, and again the quality is outstanding. Think throwback psyche along with extra rock and fuzz followed by those traditional Anatolian rhythms, harmonies, and vocals. We speak to them as they prepare to play their last night of the residency at London鈥檚 Caf茅 Oto. And if it wasn't enough that we were speaking to them, they'll also be providing this week's Guest Mix.
