Ward Thomas perform live

Ward Thomas perform live in the Radio 2 Piano Room and Mollie King, the presenter and popstar picks the Tracks of My Years.

Ward Thomas perform live in the Radio 2 Piano Room with music from their brand new album Restless Minds. The Hampshire twin sisters Lizzy and Catherine latest record is the follow up to their 2016 chart topping Cartwheels which saw Ward Thomas reach beyond the so-called UK country album From Where We Stand, the DIY debut they made in their teens, they say now that Restless Minds goes much further. Country influences still surface on some songs but far less on others. Harmonies still play a large part, but both of the sisters pushed themselves to adapt to punchier sounds. Previous artists who have performed in the Radio 2 Piano Room include Joan Armatrading, James Blunt, Gary Barlow, Amy Macdonald and Mark Knopfler.

Mollie King, the presenter and member of pop group The Saturdays picks the Tracks of My Years. Mollie presents three weekly breakfast shows on 大象传媒 Radio 1 with her co-host Matt Edmondson and also hosts 'The Greatest Dancer' podcast which accompanies the new 大象传媒 One Saturday night talent show. As part of the phenomenally successful group The Saturdays, Mollie has sold millions of records around the world and had over ten top 10 singles in the UK chart. She has also appeared on the cover of numerous magazines and picked up awards from both Glamour and Cosmopolitan. Mollie was a contestant in the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing and made it to the semi-finals of the competition with her partner AJ Pritchard.

Ken's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's love song. There's also the record and album of the week and another guest choosing the Tracks of My Years.
