Nicola Meighan has live music and conversation with the brilliant British multi-instrumentalist, and rising star, Andy Burrows ahead of his Glasgow Tour date at King Tut’s. He’s in the studio for a live session and will also discuss his work with bestselling author Matt Haig on their much-anticipated album collaboration, Reasons To Stay Alive.
Palestinian-Icelandic writer, Mazen Maarouf - poet, translator and journalist discusses his latest award winning short story collection JOKES FOR THE GUNMEN and ahead of its release this week, Director-writer James Gardner discusses his feature directorial debut Jellyfish. The film follows a troubled teen named Sarah Taylor, played by newcomer Liv Hill, as she finds her voice through stand - up comedy.
Ahir Shah - one of comedy's brightest new talents, whose sharp brand of stand-up features a blend of socio-political awareness, energetic delivery and jokes, will be talking about his upcoming Scottish date on his DUFFER tour.
Nicola will also hear about Alight – a remarkable exhibition gives artists at all stages in their careers an opportunity to exhibit their work in Scotland's flagship arts venue - The Royal Scottish Academy.
