Biased? Me? The prejudices that plot our path in life
Biased? Me? The prejudices that plot our path in life.
Saint or redeemed sinner? That pretty much sums up the contested verdict on Liam Neeson this week after he told a journalist that he once set out to kill a black man, saying he walked the streets with a weapon for a week, hoping to take out his anger after someone close to him was raped by a black man.
It raises the question as how affected each one of us is by bias - whether consciously or unconsciously.
Presenter Audrey Carville discusses with the Chief Equality Commissioner Dr Michael Wardlow, former Presbyterian Moderator Rev Ken Newell, Femi Otitoju, managing director of a company specialising in the training of people in equality, diversity and inclusion and the economist John Simpson.
