Scottish Cup Fifth Round: Ross County v Inverness CT
Rob Maclean introduces live fifth-round Scottish Cup coverage as Ross County take on Inverness CT. Commentary is by Liam McLeod.
The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland cameras are in the Highlands for the last of the weekend’s fifth-round Scottish Cup ties. Inverness Caledonian Thistle make the short 15-mile journey over the Kessock Bridge to Dingwall where they play local rivals Ross County for a place in the last eight.
In the fourth round County knocked out last season’s losing finalists, Motherwell, while Caley Thistle got through at the expense of Lowland League leaders East Kilbride with a 4-0 win.
It’s an all-Championship affair with both sides in contention for a return to the top flight next season. Caley Thistle lifted the famous trophy in 2015 following a 2-1 victory over Falkirk at Hampden. The closest the Staggies have come to Scottish Cup glory was in 2010 when they were runners-up to Dundee Utd.
Introduced by Rob Maclean, with commentary by Liam McLeod.
