Daughter of Sir John Mills, Juliet Mills and her husband actor Maxwell Caulfield, pop into our Edinburgh studio to chat to Janice about the stage production of THE LADY VANISHES, Alfred Hitchcock’s 1938 film at the King’s in Edinburgh.
Catherine Simpson whose new book WHEN I HAD A LITTLE SISTER tells the story of her sister Tricia’s suicide. Although at times a sad and poignant read, Catherine writes about growing up in a farming family that did not speak about her sister’s mental health.
YOUNG FILMS based in Skye and who make the successful TV series, The Inbetweeners launched their The Young Films Foundation in 2017. Applications are now being sought for this year’s batch of lucky film makers who will be part of a residential group in Skye where they can creatively progress their Film & TV projects under first class guidance from leading industry mentors. Janice chats to Producer Chris Young from Young Films and a participant from the class of 2018.

They will also have visited the art exhibition 369 REMEMBERED – THE MEN which follows on from last year’s 369 REMEMBERED – THE WOMEN and this time is devoted to the work of male artists associated with the 369 Gallery over the last four decades. Our final review item is the drama podcast HOW TO BURN A MILLION QUID, and recalls the story of when in 1994, the pop duo KLF burned a million pounds in cash on a remote Scottish island.
