The 大象传媒 Singers and Bang on a Can All-Stars, conducted by Tecwyn Evans, perform the oratorio Anthracite Fields by the American composer Julia Wolfe. It was awarded the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Music. It commemorates the history of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Coal Region and it has been described as "an unforgettably haunting, harrowing evocation of the plight of Pennsylvania's coal miners, incorporating many musical styles and effectively shadowy visuals." Plus Sakari Oramo conducts the 大象传媒 Symphony Orchestra in Bax鈥檚 tone poem, The Garden of Fand, inspired by the Irish Celtic sea goddess Fand.
