Branko in session

Portuguese producer, DJ and label owner Branko performs three tracks from his album Nosso in session, alongside guest vocalists Miles From Kinshasa, Cosima and Dino D'Santiago.

Jo茫o Barbosa aka Branko is a Portuguese producer, DJ, label owner and original member of the collective Buraka som Sistema; the worldwide phenomenon whose releases helped create a new attitude towards global sounds.

Branko's music hears him experimenting with rhythmic patterns and genres from the Portuguese-speaking universe and applying them to songs created with other artists from completely different backgrounds. He fuses local rhythms from kizomba to baile funk and afrohouse alongside European electronic genres with a clear, accessible pop-sensibility.

In this session for Jamz Supernova, he invites three vocalists (Miles From Kinshasa, Cosima and Dino D'Santiago) from his new album Nosso, ('Our' in English), to help him create, and celebrate, a unified sound.
