As part of the Free Thinking festival, Katie Derham broadcasts live from Sage Gateshead with music by Kathryn Tickell and her band The Darkening who talk to us about their new album. The Consone Quartet perform live, and we're joined by Gesualdo Six, the pianist Louis Schwizgebel, the Durham Singers, and the recorder quartet Palisander. Plus New Generation Thinker Daisy Black and historian of emotions Professor Thomas Dixon preview their Free Thinking lectures.
