Roman Mints, Alexander Kobrin, Anna Huntley, Anna Dennis, Edward Grint, London Handel Orchestra, Stina Quagebeur, Crystal Costa

Sean Rafferty presents live music from violinist Roman Mints and pianist Alexander Kobrin plus singers Anna Huntley, Anna Dennis and Edward Grint with the London Handel Orchestra.

Russian violinist Roman Mints and pianist Alexander Kobrin join us in the studio to play works from their new CD released on the 5th April: Hindemith Complete Works for Violin & Piano. We are also joined by mezzo-soprano Anna Huntley, soprano Anna Dennis, bass-baritone Edward Grint and members of the London Handel Orchestra; Adrian Butterfield on violin, Al Ross on harpsichord and Kath Sharman on cello; as they prepare for a very special concert at Wigmore Hall. And we hear from choreographer Stina Quagebeur and dancer Crystal Costa about the English National Ballet production 'Nora' opening at Sadler's Wells on the 4th April, as part of the triple-bill 'She Persisted', showcasing three iconic stories and three bold works about and by women.
