Stuart features hard bop and meditative duets by the saxophonist and flutist Eric Dolphy from his classic jazz album Iron Man recorded in 1963. Plus experimental R鈥檔鈥橞 from Solange, Bogdan Raczynski surfaces after a 10 year hiatus with exploratory electronics and Ifriqiyya Electrique combine the hypnotic chants and metallic hand percussion of traditional Banga music with brutalist electronics and sheer rock volume.
