Stephanie Moore joins Kate and Jason

The Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present ethical and religious issues, with guests and spiritual music.

On Sunday, Sikhs around the world celebrate Vaisakhi which marks the birth of the Khalsa, a special group of initiated Sikhs, and the community that considers Sikhism as its faith. There will be events and processions, free food and dancing. Parambeer Samrai pops into the studio to tell Kate and Jason about the significance of the day and he guides Kate through some Bhangra moves.

Stephanie Moore, the widow of the 1966 World Cup captain Bobby Moore, joins Good Morning Sunday ahead of Football Shirt Friday. After Bobby's death from bowel cancer at the age of 51, she founded the Bobby Moore Fund to raise awareness of the disease. Stephanie tells the team why she is encouraging fans to wear their football shirt to work on the 26th April and help support bowel cancer research.

This week the MOBO winning grime/gospel artist and anti-knife crime activist Guvna B won a new music prize for emerging artists co-founded by celebrity saxophonist YolanDa Brown. Guvna B tells Kate and Jason how the prize is supporting his work and about some of the new projects that he is working on.

On Good Friday, Radio 2 broadcasts 'At the Foot of the Cross'. The programme brings the themes of Good Friday into the modern day through the deeply personal stories of individuals who have experienced hope coming from despair. One of the contributors is Zoe Clark-Coates who founded the Mariposa Trust which supports parents who have lost an unborn baby. Zoe tells Kate and Jason about her own experience and the work that she is conducting with the government to help everyone who has experienced loss.
