The Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn, calls for ministers to oppose any attempt by the United States to seek the extradition of Julian Assange. Theresa May welcomed Assange's arrest yesterday after Ecuador revoked his asylum at its embassy in London, where he'd lived for almost seven years. His Wikileaks colleagues say he faces decades behind bars in the US - or even the death penalty - but Washington says the charge against him carries a five-year sentence.
