Lots of people are thinking about buying an electric car - recent research suggests more than half of us thinking of changing our cars would consider an electric.
The Government have banned the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2040 amid fears about air quality and the environment. As a result, sales of diesel cars have been hit hard.
At the moment there's a waiting list for most new electric cars because the manufacturers can't make then quickly enough to meet demand. When Volkswagen launched their new all-electric hatchback this month they took 10,000 orders in 24 hours.
But they're still expensive and people have concerns about the range of electric cars as well as whether or not the UK has the infrastructure to support them - or can build it fast enough.
