PUP councillor John Kyle accuses loyalist blogger Jamie Bryson of brushing over the problem of paramilitary drug dealers as if they don't exist.
An East Belfast councillor has accused loyalist commentator Jamie Bryson of 'brushing over the problem of paramilitary drug dealers as if they don't exist'. Mr Bryson had told the Belfast Telegraph that 'loyalism is not a byword for paramilitarism'. The debate began after Jamie Bryson told this programme that working class unionists are subjected to ‘dehumanising stereotypes’. Stephen spoke to Cllr John Kyle and Jamie Bryson.
Also on the programme, what grinds your gears about the behaviour of other people when it comes to travelling? Drunk passengers on a flight, people putting their seat back while you are eating? And how do you approach the situation when it arises? There is a new guide on this and all other travel etiquette matters to help you through the minefield of travel around the world and the nuances between different countries. The guide was put together by Expedia and Etiquette expert William Hanson - he joined Stephen this morning.
And, Northern Ireland is facing another welfare reform crisis. That is the warning MPs were given earlier this week. Two Westminster committees heard there would be dire consequences if mitigation payments come to an end while Stormont is in limbo. Stephen spoke to Kevin Higgins from Advice NI, Kate McCauley from Housing Rights NI, Sinn Fein MLA Alex Maskey, SDLP MLA Nichola Mallon and DUP MLA Jim Wells.
All that and more on the biggest show in the country...
