The Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon

The Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon joins Mark and Stuart to talk about the band's new album and his work on 'Father Ted: The Musical'

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast

On today's show Mark and Stuart chat to singer-songwriter and founder of indie-pop outfit The Divine Comedy, Neil Hannon. The band came to prominence in the 1990's with hits including 'National Express' and 'Something for the Weekend' and the latest album - a double album no less - titled 'Office Politics' has just been released. As well as a brand new album Neil has also been working on the musical spin-off of classic comedy TV series Father Ted. He originally wrote the theme music for the Channel 4 sitcom in the 90's and is back collaborating with Father Ted writer Graham Linehan on the forthcoming 'Father Ted: The Musical' on which Neil has written all the music.

Also on the show today, catch up on the best music and entertainment stories of the past week in ‘This Week In Music’.
