Producer, musician and DJ Quantic joins Jamie for a chat about his wide-ranging jazz influences and new album.
Jamie鈥檚 guest this week is producer, DJ and musician Quantic. He shares some of his favourite jazz tracks and discusses his latest album for Tru Thoughts.
Originally from Worcestershire, Quantic (a.k.a. Will Holland) lived in Columbia for several years, where he set up an analogue studio and released several albums. Now based in New York, his latest record brings together electronic and orchestral sounds. His music incorporates different styles from around the world including jazz, funk, salsa and bossa nova, and he has worked with the likes of Mr Scruff, Alice Russell and Nostalgia 77.
