Hey Children of the Zone, want to go to the moon?
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landings, Stuart has crafted a who鈥檚-who of celestial-themed experimental music from the past fifty years. He explores key moments from Brian Eno鈥檚 Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks, the (now reissued) album written with his brother Roger and Daniel Lanois to accompany For All Mankind, the 1989 documentary about the Apollo mission. Plus, there鈥檚 ethereal vocal drone from Julianna Barwick, afrofuturism old and new from Sun Ra and Shabazz Palaces and space-rock Americana from Black Mountain.
