Gary Clark Jr was born in Austin, Texas - a place with a rich musical history and well known for its pioneering spirit. It's no surprise that Gary picks a trailblazing 'Rock God', worthy of a nomination - and one who has never been chosen before. During his career, Gary has appeared on stage with the likes of Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton. He recently released his fifth album, 'This Land'. Elsewhere on the show, AC/DC feature in 'This Week In Rock' plus Johnnie has new releases from Clutch, Saints of Sin and the Doctors of Madness.
