Huey marks the 50th anniversary of Miles Davis' seminal 1969 album In A Silent Way. The album was the first of Miles' "electric" period, and paved the way for artists to start experimenting with jazz by fusing it with other genres such as rock and funk. With that in mind, Huey has some well selected jazz fusion classics from the likes of Lonnie Smith, Herbie Hancock, and Donald Byrd, as well as contemporary artists such as Joe Armon-Jones and Kamaal Williams.
