Radio 3 New Generation Artists at the Festival

The Amatis Piano Trio, Eivind Ringstad and Aleksey Semenenko join forces for Franck and Dvorak, live from the Queen's Hall series in Edinburgh.

One of the leading chamber ensembles in Europe and formerly ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 3 New Generation Artists, the Amatis Trio join forces in a special collaboration with two new talents on this prestigious scheme: Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko and the viola player Eivind Ringstad from Norway. Franck’s piano quintet is a work of passionate intensity and drama while Dvorak’s sunny and melodic style marries Czech folk tunes with a hint of his ‘American’ themes to come. Presented by Kate Molleson.
