Philip has given give up his acting ambitions finding satisfaction demonstrating kitchen appliances in the basement of Peter Jones. But Rose's success is never far from his mind.

Philip鈥檚 mum has gone to Lanzarote for a holiday, leaving Philip amazed at how much the old girl did around the house. Luckily a colleague鈥檚 mother has been round to straighten the place up, but though his new job demonstrating kitchen appliances in Peter Jones is providing a certain satisfaction, his rising resentment that his ex-wife Rose is presenting The Lions of the Serengeti for the 大象传媒 is poisoning his happiness.
