NI Agri Food and a No-Deal Brexit

The idea of an all-Ireland food standards zone as part of a Brexit solution has remained at the top of the political agenda this week. It would mean Northern Ireland continuing to follow EU rules after Brexit as a way to prevent checks at the border. The Prime Minister's advisor has discussed the idea in Brussels - and it hasn't been ruled out by the DUP. It just emphasises how the food and agriculture industry has become central to the Brexit debate. It's food companies who would face some of the highest tariffs if there's no deal. Food products would also be hit with new and significant non-tariff barriers to trade with the EU. So how prepared is the industry?
