Nick Laird-Clowes joins Jools to talk about his work as a writer of music for films, his life as a pop star - "Life In A Northern Town" anyone? - and why you should never look up at a Beatles concert!

Nick is perhaps most visible from his time in The Dream Academy, but for over a decade he has been working with the likes of Richard Curtis, Cameron Diaz and the late Bernardo Bertolucci as a composer for film. He's also been a TV presenter, and a contributor to Pink Floyd, as well as continuing to make his own music.
