Some nurses are on strike as 900 hospital appointments are cancelled due to industrial action.
Some nurses at Altnagelvin hospital have just begun strike action. Nurses from the health union, Unison, joined the picket lines at the hospital at eight o'clock. Nurses from the same union will strike at other hospitals during the week. It comes after a new pay offer was rejected by the unions last week. And 900 routine outpatient appointments have been cancelled by the Belfast Trust today.
