Laura Crockett kick-starts 20 years of Radio 1 Anthems, as part of Radio 1's schedule of new DJs over Christmas & New Year.

Laura, who grew up in Northamptonshire, has been waking up Kent for three years now with the Breakfast show on kmfm. As a child she was always the one being told off for talking - which made her even more determined to make a job out of it one day. So it was no surprise when she moved to London to study broadcast journalism at City University and join Roundhouse Radio. Now you can catch her on Radio 1 on December 26th and 27th from 7am.
